    • Our team will discuss your pets quality of life and perform a physical exam. This is an integral step in the process that allows you to share your concerns, thoughts and ensure that you’re comfortable with the decision.

    • Premedication that provides both pain relief and sedation. This will help them feel calm and relaxed, minimizing any stress or discomfort. This allows your pet to rest peacefully before the final medication is given, ensuring their passing is as gentle and comfortable as possible.

    • Euthanasia, the final act of kindness.

    • Notification to your family veterinarian of your pets passing.

    **If you will be coordinating your pets aftercare, we will be unable to transport your pet from your home.

  • We are able to provide services for most small animal species, including:

    • Dogs

    • Cats

    • Pocket Pets

    • Avian

    • Exotics

    • In addition, we’re able to provide services for small farm animals up to 250 lb.

      • We are not able to provide services for swine.

  • Deciding when to euthanize a pet is an incredibly difficult decision, but it's often the most compassionate choice when a pet's quality of life is severely compromised. Consider euthanasia:

    • When your pet is experiencing persistent pain that cannot be managed

    • When they can no longer perform basic activities like eating, drinking, or moving around comfortably, or when they consistently seem unhappy or withdrawn.

    • Your primary care veterinarian can help navigate end of life care and provide guidance on making the best decision for your pet.

    • We will discuss your pets quality of life at the time of your appointment to ensure that you’re comfortable with the decision and making the best decision for your pet and family.

    • Humane euthanasia is not painful. Your pet is provided both pain relief and sedation prior to the final medication being administered. This allows them to be as pain free and as relaxed as possible in their final moments.

  • Typically, each appointment will last about 30 to 45 minutes.

  • All family members are welcome to be present. We look to you to decide what is best for your pet and your family.

  • We encourage allowing your other pets to be with you during the appointment. Pets do understand the loss of a pack member and by allowing them to be present, they will be able to see and process that their friend has passed.

  • For everyone’s safety, if you have an aggressive pet we kindly ask that you have them muzzled when we arrive. We will administer sedation and then the muzzle can be removed while the sedation takes effect.

    If you do not have a muzzle, we will provide one at arrival and will ask that it is placed before we handle your pet.

    • In-home veterinary euthanasia

      • Final moments with pets are so important and the memory often lingers with people. Your home is the most comfortable setting for you and your pet, and it can be where your pet spends his final moments—surrounded by the people, animals and things that your cat or dog know best. You can take your time saying goodbye in the familiarity of your home and express your grief in private.

    • Primary Care Veterinarian

      • Your primary care veterinarian knows you and your pet best. This is a great option if you prefer not to have others in your home and would feel most comfortable with a team you already know and are familiar with.

    • Emergency Hospital

      • An emergency hospital is equipped to handle euthanasia at anytime. In the event your pet is suffering, unable to stand or walk, urinate, or having respiratory difficulties this is the best and fastest option to provide comfort to your pet.

  • Traditional Cremation

    • We partner with Lasting Paws Memorial Services and have trusted their team for over 15 years. We are confident that your pet will be treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. Please visit our pricing page to view the options we offer.

    Aquamation

    • We proudly partner with a locally owned and operated facility, Serene Waters Pet Cremation.

    • Aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis, is a gentle, water-based alternative to traditional flame-based cremation. It produces no harmful greenhouse gas emissions and uses no fossil fuels.

  • We proudly serve Prescott Valley and the surrounding areas. In addition, we provide services in select parts of the Valley. Please refer to our service area map for more details.

  • We can travel outside of our mapped service area. There is additional cost of $75 that will be applied to travel beyond 1 hour/60 miles of our primary locations.
